At Klipparservice we have developed repair parts that make your old motors better than newly manufactured motors. If you have problems with your wheel motors, you have found the right place!
The parts in this repair kit are of a much higher quality than the original and have been carefully selected to create the best solution to achieve a long service life.
The gears are made of hardened high-quality steel. New pins for the planetary gears closest to the wheel are included. Stainless screws with torx and allen heads that do not slip.
New wheel bearings and shaft seals and grease are included.
It is also advisable to disassemble the motors before ordering so that you get everything you need at once.
Options:
- Reinforced wheel bearing
Keep in mind that the motor will protrude about 8mm further into the machine if you choose improved wheel bearing. Check that there is room! Also does not fit 105/220AC/305/308/R160 because the bearing adapter has too large a diameter.
Now there is the option to choose an upgrade kit that makes the wheel bearing much stronger and reduces wear on the gears as there will not be any angular errors in the gear engagement for a long time. This is a conversion kit that moves the wheel bearings apart by about 8mm and includes a new longer axle and a new outer bearing holder that replaces the existing outer bearing. The longer distance between the bearings means that the axle is no longer tilted in them. This eliminates the emergency solution of locking fluid between the axle and the wheel bearings that is otherwise recommended. The repair is easier to carry out and gives a good result as it is not easy to get the locking fluid between the bearing and axle in a controlled manner. The axle often gets worn out and this kit removes this weakness that is built into all these engines from the factory and wears out the gears.
Tip:
310/315/315X, the battery holder must be adjusted a few mm for the electric motor shaft, which is easily done.
Gardena Sileno with four wheels, it is recommended that the plastic for the battery compartment is heated with a heat gun and adjusted.

- Shaft seal
Shaft seals of better quality than original that have two sealing lips for longer life. The wheel axle always gets a certain amount of wear that wears the original seal so that it becomes oval and does not seal as intended, which can damage the wheel bearings. The seal is located in the plastic end cap and the old one is dismantled and the new one is turned with the spring inwards towards the electric motor and lubricated generously with grease.

It is not uncommon for the plastic gears closest to the electric motor gets worn. These are made of high-quality, machined plastic.
