Description
We have made an improved version of the holder for the slip plate and its ball bearings for many older machines that were manufactured between 2003-2015.
It is not uncommon for the threads to become bad in these, and for the original to lack a seal between the slip plate and the bearing housing.
We therefore replaced the plastic threads with brass insert threads to improve the life of the thread.
To get a longer life for the ball bearings, we took the opportunity to make room for the same O-ring that is on the later bearing housing that replaced this model on newer machines.
NOTE:
When installing ball bearings, a ball bearing will protrude 1mm outside the bearing holder, do not try to press the bearings in further than that. Also remember not to press on the inner bearing race of the ball bearing so as not to damage the ball bearings.
