Bearing housing with metal threads for extra long service life
Our own bearing housing including everything needed, with extra high quality, also for the ball bearings. We have improved the otherwise good design with threads in metal, so that you do not wear them out.
This bearing housing corresponds to Husqvana's latest model with bearing stops between the ball bearings. On the previous models, it sometimes got worn so that the cutting disc came loose from the bearings and dropped down.
It is also an advantage to have thread inserts for those who want to use a skid plate without holes for the blades or who prefers to remove the skid plate when changing the blade. Then you do not risk stripping the fragile plastic threads when changing the knives.
A skid plate without holes at the blades reduces the noise from the cutting deck.
