I am currently testing these new blade discs, and they will be on sale soon.
The quality is perceived as higher than the original and much higher compared to what I have seen on the aftermarket, and the plastic is also slightly thicker for longer life.
Blade disc for the possibility of 10 or 5 blades for Husqvarna Automower. This can be used more advantageously together with our new skid plate for the best cutting results.
The number of blades is chosen depending on what you like. This is the first disc on the market for the Nera models with more than three blades. A slight modification will be required but it can be fixed very quickly!
I have tried out my own designed 3D printed blade discs during the autumn and it works very well after slightly different versions. Power consumption and operating time are very close to the original.
The big advantage of my blade disc is a better cutting result and that you do not have to change blades as often as with the original. I have also tried to make a design that prevents the blades from getting stuck in the retracted position.
This disc has a slightly larger outer diameter of the plastic than knife discs before 2020 (222mm), but the knives are at the same distance from the center, and this has no negative impact on the function. But it should be used with the new smaller skid plate that I also sell for the best cutting results!
Husqvarna's cutting discs after 2020 have the same outer diameter.
Advantages:
Better cutting results
5 knife blades and 5 spare threads for those who think 10 is too much
10 knife blades for those who want it for maximum convenience
Less frequent knife replacement (assuming you don't have stones etc. lying on the lawn)
Thicker plastic around the knife threads for longer life
Less risk of the knife blades getting stuck in the retracted position
Lower noise when mowing
Disadvantages:
Not a good idea if you have stones in the lawn and if the knives are often bent or extremely worn.
The cutting disc is made according to the same principle as the original and is therefore just as safe as the blades fold in the same way. However, this is an aftermarket part, so we cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs or any possible lack of warranty.
Assembly tip:
The screws should be locked with thread locking, so that they do not unthread!
