Klippaservice own display for soldering on existing circuit boards suitable for all larger machines.
If the display has a black spot or is starting to become dull, this is a good solution to get the display in good condition without having to buy a completely new display circuit board that also has to be programmed to work in the machine. If the display has suddenly stopped showing anything completely, it is not certain that it will work, but if it has gradually deteriorated, it is likely that it will work well.
I have made this display myself because I have noticed that several older machines have problems with this when they start to get around 10 years old.
NOTE!
This repair is not for everyone, but requires good knowledge or that you know someone who is good at soldering. You must have a soldering iron with a narrow tip, good lighting and good vision or a lamp with a magnifying glass to succeed as the distance between the soldering points is about 1mm.
To make it easier, two solderable contacts are included so that it is possible to fail once. I have failed myself :)
Tip:
Attach the display to the circuit board with double-sided tape.
Glue the solderable contact to the circuit board to avoid damage to the circuit board's wiring after you have checked that the soldering is done correctly.
Be careful when connecting the ribbon cable to the contact so that you do not damage the circuit board. Do not strain the circuit board's wiring unnecessarily.
