Wheel hub that fits older Husqvarna Automower 220AC, 230ACX, 260ACX, 265ACX and Gardena R160.
Often there is wear on this and on the wheel's inner hexagon and it doesn't always help with just a new hub, but with this hub it works well because of the improved shape.
If you can pull the wheel back and forth several cm, this is usually worn. The wear can cause the machine to have difficulty following the guide home as it has difficulty compensating for the significant wear. Sometimes it even becomes completely worn out so the machine runs in circles.
We at Klipparservice have a lot of experience with these machines. Instead of offering the same as the original, we have taken this a step further and made a wheel hub that fits wheels that have wear on the hexagon but also fits brand new wheels.
On our hub, the surface is grooved so that it also grips when the screw is tightened.
When mounting on the wheel motor, the hub is heated and mounted on the axle. For the easiest mounting, the hub is heated with, for example, a gas burner, and held with an M8 bolt. It is also possible to press in a vice if you hold against the back of the wheel axle. Note, do not press without removing all gears and holding against, otherwise the wheel bearings will break.
