"TIME TO ENTER PIN"
Has this message appeared on your robotic lawnmower's display? A faulty microswitch on the stop button is the most common reason the display shows "TIME TO ENTER PIN" immediately upon opening the cover.
When the switch is defective, various other problems can also arise while the machine is in operation.
Why our switch is better than the original:
The original Husqvarna part consists of two plastic halves snapped together; unfortunately, this design never creates a completely airtight seal. Moisture seeps in over time but cannot dry out because the bottom is sealed. This leads to corrosion, and the switch eventually stops working.
Many have found that the original part has a short lifespan—a problem we have sought to solve with our switch.
Our microswitch is hermetically sealed as a single unit—there are no seams where moisture can penetrate.

Note: On machines older than 2010, the rubber seal must be transferred from the old switch to the display cover—easily done using a small needle. Pin polarity does not matter.
