Wheel motor repair kit – better than a new replacement motor

Husqvarna wheel motors of this type have an inherent design flaw: the wheel bearings are positioned too close together, which over time causes shaft misalignment and accelerated wear on the gears and bearings. Our repair kit is developed specifically to remove this weakness – not only restoring the engine, but making it more durable than Husqvarna's own newer engine type.

Choose the right variant:

Premium – Reinforced wheel bearing (recommended) The complete solution. New, longer stainless steel wheel axle moves the bearings apart by about 8 mm – removing the fundamental weakness that wears all these motors out of the factory. The axle is no longer tilted, the gears are loaded evenly, and the service life is significantly extended. Better for the robot, better for the resale value.

Includes: new longer stainless steel wheel axle, adapter with coarser outer ball bearings, stainless steel screws for engine end, axle seal.

Budget – Axle Seals Suitable if the wheel axle is in very good condition, but with a limited service life. You reuse the old axle and change the seals to our improved variant with double seal flaps. Remember: the axle on these motors always wears, so if there is already a gap in the wheel or sideways – choose Premium.

 

Fits:
320/330X/420/430X/440/450X/520/550 from 2014v45 up to 2020, check appearance!

435X only for the axle with large wheels, but requires a little heating with a hot air gun and adjustment of the plastic inside (applies to reinforced wheel bearings).
On the 435X, it is only possible to mount a set of reinforced wheel bearings on the narrow part of the machine, however, the electric motor shaft may need to be ground down slightly to make room.
