Sealing strip chassis 5mm P21

Soft sealing strip that is located between the lower and upper chassis halves on the larger machines.

This sealing strip is good to have at home if you want to check the condition inside the machine or do a service. It shall always be changed if you open up the machine.

The seal is recommended to be replaced when:

• Repair of wheel motors (if they cannot be pulled out far enough)
• Battery replacement
• Replacement of the front wheel lock washers above the front wheel axles or their bearings
• Service
  
• Etc.

I always change these lock washers when I open a machine, because after 2014 they became galvanized instead of stainless. It often happens that the starlock lock washers crack so that the robot drops its front wheels.

The seal is installed with an overlap of approx. 15mm, just to be safe, check how the seal is fitted before you remove the old one.
