Skid plate that is located under the cutting disc including bearings.
Klipparservice's own variant on disc with only one hole instead of three.
This reduces the disturbing noise that can sometimes occur when the screws of the knives pass the holes.
Another advantage is that this also reduces the wear on the disc and the noise that occurs if, for example, you have an apple lying on the lawn that the lawnmower runs into. It also reduces the load on the cutting motor in these situations.
This corresponds to the latest version of the skid plate that went into production 2020, but it also fits older machines.
The diameter is smaller than the original that was installed in 2016-2019, which means that more of the blades are used to cut the grass, which gives a better cutting result. It also means that the knives can be used slightly longer before changing.
So for those machines this is a great upgrade!
